Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag has spoken to Marcus Rashford. Saying footballers need to be disciplined both on and off the field.

His comments come in a week where Rashford has been held accountable for his actions. After reports he was seen at Belfast nightlife on two occasions.

Rashford was reported to have been so sick he missed training with United last Friday after flying back to Manchester from Northern Ireland UFABET

He did not play in the FA Cup win over Newport on Sunday.

Ten Hag refused to speak about Rashford’s situation. When he held a press conference ahead of the Premier League trip to Wolves on Thursday night.

But when asked if he had disciplined his players correctly.

Ten Hag replied:

“It has nothing to do with me. But in the football world You must be disciplined. That’s on the field. But off the field, you have to as well.”

“There is a fine line between it, every player and every professional knows what is required.”

It is the third time in 13 months that Rashford has been reprimanded by Ten Hag following off-field problems.

He was dropped for an away game against Wolves last season. Because I couldn’t sleep and missed the team meeting. He then apologized to Ten Hag for attending a pre-arranged birthday party in October after United lost 3-0 at home to Manchester City.

Ten Hag denies Rashford has shown disrespect over repeated offences.

“It has nothing to do with that. But as I said Let’s focus on the game. move on We have to focus on winning football games.”

“He took responsibility. The rest is an internal matter. This case has been closed.”

Rashford will be in the Red Devils’ squad for the trip to Wolves. With Ten Hag hoping the forward will continue his recent form of two goals and two assists in two games. His latest in the Premier League.

“There has been a strong development between Marcus and Rasmus Hoylund and we want to continue that process.”
